In today’s fast-changing digital world, modern technologies and advanced analytical equipment are essential to improve efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and service quality across organizations. To remain competitive and future-ready, laboratory professionals, researchers, technologists, and industry players must continuously enhance their technical skills, laboratory management practices, quality assurance, safety knowledge, and understanding of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In line with this vision, the National Laboratory Innovation Seminar (NaLIS) 2026 is organized as a platform for participants to share knowledge, showcase innovations, and exchange ideas across various sectors including education, industry, healthcare, food technology, fisheries, safety, environmental management, and the private sector. Although the seminar theme highlights AI, participation is not limited to AI-based projects. Any innovation that improves efficiency, productivity, quality, sustainability, cost-saving, safety, or workplace performance is highly encouraged.
